Well, got the blood work results, and there’s good news and bad news. Good news: It’s a boy and he’s healthy. Bad news: He’s gay. I didn’t even know there was a blood test for that now, but I guess it’s new? They found the genes that cause homosexuality and they test for them now…
I’m a really tolerant person, but this has made me think hard. I don’t know how I feel about trying to raise a gay son. Will I be able to relate to him? Won’t his life be super hard? I know things are getting better for gay people, but it seems to me that being gay is really hard in the South in other parts of the country yet.h, where we live. Gay people aren’t really accepted here like in other parts of the country.
My wife told one of her friends that we are going to have an abortion because we don’t feel equipped to deal with raising a gay child. Apparently it got around to some of our gay friends from college. I’ve been getting emails, texts, and IMs all day from them asking me why I’m a homophobe, and why I hate gay people.
I don’t understand. It’s my wife’s body. It’s her choice, and I agree with it. It’s our choice of what to do with our pregnancy. How can anyone else tell my wife what to do with her body?…
We got to the clinic almost an hour early. They made us sit in the waiting room for a while and finally called us back, but instead of walking us into a table with stirrups like we expected, they escorted us into an office. A man in a lab coat was waiting at a desk.
“I recognize you,” he said, after looking at us sternly for what seemed like an eternity. I didn’t know what to say, so I didn’t say anything. My wife didn’t speak either. “What you are doing should be a hate crime, and I won’t have any part in it,” the man said, looking angry.
“But it’s my body,” my wife said, sounding defiant, but like a little girl too. “It’s my right.”
“It’s hateful,” the doctor responds. “You are terminating this pregnancy because you don’t want a gay child. Are gay children less valuable than straight children?” He sounded like a teacher trying to impart a lesson to a very slow student.
“No, but—” my wife started to say.
“A gay child has just as much value as a straight child. In fact, you are lucky! Gay children are very rare. Census numbers put the number of homosexuals in America at around 3 percent. It wouldn’t take many more people like you,” he nearly spits the words, “to eliminate homosexuality in America. That’s genocide, and I won’t have that on my conscience.
With that, we were ushered out. My wife cried all the way home. When we got there, we found that someone had firebombed our rented townhouse and wrote “Bigotry Doesn’t Belong Here!” and “Love Wins!” in spray paint on the sidewalk. I guess some fetuses are more equal than others, but I can’t understand it. I just followed all the arguments I’ve heard from our society to their logical conclusions.
This story is satire…But we will know at least one State in America where a couple or a woman in this situation will be able to go and get the procedure done not only without government interference but with government protection.

At least 200,000 are in the 9th circle of hell.
It was ostensibly the U.N against communist aggression, where the U.S. bore the brunt and casualties were enormous and all sides. But it saved what would become South Korea, a beacon of freedom and an economic powerhouse.
Vietnam was of course death by a thousand cuts. It went on too long but Nixon finally brought the North Vietnamese to the negotiating table by carpet bombing Hanoi with B-52’s. Of course we remember how history played out. Today for better or worse there is only one Vietnam.
In 2016 Donald Trump was elected President and a bunch of C-list celebrates including Mike Farrel (B.J.) and Loretta Switt (hot lips) produced a video imploring the Electoral College to overturn the election.
Because they didn’t get their way the Libs now want to abolish the Electoral College.
Now 44 years after Vietnam war ended with the North’s victory President Donald Trump becomes the 4th consecutive U.S. President to visit Hanoi. Only this time for the purpose of a second summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in an attempt to denuclearize the Korean peninsular and to try and convince the Kim that there are better ways to bring prosperity to his people using Vietnam itself as a model.
No one can predict the outcome although the “Drive by Media” is praying to Gaia that Trump’s attempt for a successful summit, perhaps officially ending the Korean War with a real peace treaty will fail. Because…

More and more of the pilgrims chose the path of sitting around or faking illness until the nonworkers outnumbered the workers. Women resented the idea of cooking for someone because his wife chose to be a nonworker and, according to Governor Bradford’s memoirs, considered it a form of slavery. It became so bad that at one point each person was rationed to 3 to 4 pieces of corn per day. You read that right – PIECES (or kernels) of corn. They were starving
Bradford scrapped the system. Gave every family a plot of land, reminded them of Genesis 3:19 , and that the product of their labor was theirs to do as they saw fit. After the next harvest the colony was awash in abundance.

Which brings us to today. Education, media, and the culture have been under leftest domination since the 1960’S. Millennials don’t have a clue how bad Socialism can be even when the latest example of Socialism’s failure, the human disaster that is Venezuela is unfolding right before their eyes.
*When the pilgrims experiment with Communism proved to be an abject failure they quickly abandoned it. Unlike Russia, Mongolia, China, Cuba, and Venezuela the pilgrims didn’t have a secret police and an atheist ideology to ensure that “those who do not work, will not eat”.

If you can find someone who will talk honestly about single-payer, you will usually find the pro side talking about how it’s “fairer” or “cheaper” than market-based systems (I’d contest the second, but we don’t really have any market-based systems to compare with) but will usually admit that the outcomes are better in our system (as I said, you have to find someone on the pro side willing to be honest, which is rarer than a hen’s tooth). That’s bullshit. What it’s all about is, like most lefty garbage, is manufactured virtue. “Oh, look at how COMPASSIONATE I am, I want healthcare to be FREE”. In fact, isn’t that kind of a hallmark of all left-wing, totalitarian systems? Using force and theft “for the greater good”, the unstated premise being that individuals won’t do it on their own. Thus the entire wold view of left wing systems is inherently contradictory: Their totalitarian approach is necessary because people are inherently bad (Hmmm, smells a lot like “original sin” to me), yet their systems won’t work unless you also believe in the perfectibility of man (which will be accomplished through force). No wonder these people are crazy.
And it will be the same when it comes to environmental regulations like the Green New Deal . Saving the planet will be MANDATORY. You will be made to care. Or else.

Did Bernie forget that Amazon’s founder, chairman, and CEO Jeff Bezo’s is an Uber Lib billionaire and owner of the Washington Post.

Democrats ignore Bernie Sanders’ 2020 announcement while embracing his socialist policies
To be fair, Sanders’ actual launch will get more fanfare. But why the collective yawn around news of his imminent candidacy? For one thing, presidential campaign announcements in 2019 are a dime a dozen. There are already nine declared Democratic candidates with many others waiting in the wings.
Including Bernie there are as of this date 11 democrats have announced their candidacy for President. Creepy Joe Biden who believes he’s the most qualified will likely announce soon.
But Bernie, you’re “white”, you’re “old”, you’re a Jew in name only, and you still refuse to call yourself a democrat, but be that as it may you have very successful in morphing the party of FDR and JFK into a Socialist, Green, Communist party.
Yes, a lot of Democrats have embraced Bernie’s dream to to turn America into a larger version of Venezuela.
