America is not a democracy…
It is a Republic.
Once upon a time, a “man” had to own property to be eligible to vote. Skin in the game so to speak. In 1777 the new “Republic of Vermont” declared “Universal manhood suffrage, property no longer required. Later on, suffrage was extended to men of color. Finally, the franchise was extended to women.
The one caveat was that you had to be either a natural-born citizen or if foreign-born, naturalized.
Now, the idea of citizenship is deemed Racist.
The left, a.k.a. democrats/progressives, socialist/Marxist want “everyone” to be able to vote citizenship be damned. And to them, this is “democracy”. It is this that will be the death knell of the American Republic to be replaced by mob rule.

Far from being “fascist”, the book “Starship Troopers” details a society, a civilization that sounds a lot more appealing than the present one that appears to be collapsing before our very eyes.

I have seen the film many times and in my opinion Director Paul Verhoeven has his head up his ass. Along with every left-leaning journalist and film critic since its release in 1997.
Because apparently, gender, racial equality, one-world government, and meritocracy are fascist.
