And one year ago today.

I didn’t anticipate it. I voted for the man but I already knew that Vermont was a lost cause. I waited in dread that the evil witch would be crowned Queen Bee of America.

But the rest of America remembered what Vermonters have long forgotten.

After eight years of Obama America might have been saved at the last possible moment.

A nice little video of the build up.

A full year… seems like yesterday.

Even the “Huffpost” thought it was CRAP!

It certainly wasn’t  Scottish.

Via “Truth Revolt”

The Huffington Post isn’t known for its objectivity, but its published review of Darling of the Left Hillary Clinton’s book What Happened seems poised to change that. Posted to the Progressive site on Wednesday, Sam Kriss’s critique paints a surprisingly scathing portrait of a Marxist’s meltdown after a barely-missed chance to be President of the People’s Republic of the United States, and of her refusal to write honestly about it.

Kriss sets the tone of the piece with a not-exactly-complimentary title and tagline: “What Should Have Happened In Hillary Clinton’s Useless Book—  An artless and inauthentic memoir, written by the absence of Clinton.” Ouch.

When an ultra lib website trashes your book maybe it’s time for the Yoko Ono of politics to shut up go away and retire.

Right!! That’s not going to happen.

We all remember this:

Well, Hillary is going to be tormenting blessing us with her presence until the day comes when she’s loaded horizontally in the back.

Bernie’s bad week(s)

From the website VTDigger.

As president of Burlington College in 2010, Sanders secured a $6.7 million loan from People’s United Bank, which the college used to purchase a 33-acre lakefront campus for the school.

Federal investigators are probing aspects of that land deal, according to Holm and another former employee who said they had been contacted by the FBI. Federal officials have declined to comment on the investigation.

The loan agreement required the college to provide evidence of more than $2 million in pledged donations as collateral. However, three donors — including the largest listed at $1 million have told VTDigger their pledges were misrepresented in the loan documents.

Between 2010 and 2014 the college collected only $676,000 in donations, according to former college officials. The school was also never able to increase enrollment as Sanders had projected. It closed in May 2016, with officials citing debt from the land purchase as the primary reason.

More on the subject from American thinker

The Sanders have “Lawyered up.”

Then we have Sanders supporter James Hodgkinson.

Hodgkinson appeared to be a volunteer with Bernie Sanders’ failed presidential campaign, the Vermont senator said shortly after the incident in a statement.

“I am sickened by this despicable act,” Sanders said in a statement condemning all acts of violence.

I’m sure you are Bernie but given your rhetoric as you’ve stated here.

“Under President Trump our country is moving in an authoritarian direction and the very nature of American democracy is under attack,” the Vermont independent said. “No matter what our political perspective — whether we are progressives, conservatives or moderates — we must do everything we can to preserve American democracy and oppose the current drift toward authoritarianism that I believe President Trump represents.”

I think what really upsets him is that “American democracy” is what put Trump in office.

He also said:

As Republicans try to repeal the Affordable Care Act, they should be reminded every day that 36,000 people will die yearly as a result,”

Is it any wonder Bernie that political violence is one of the left’s justified means toward their desired end.

Last but not least we have the fate of another of Bernie’s supporters, One Mr. Seth Rich, who many believe was the source for Julian Assange’s  WikiLeaks who was upset with the DNC for shafting Bernie out of the Party’s nomination.

From the Profiling project

After a three-month review and investigation into the death of Seth Rich, The Profiling Project notes the following:
1. Seth’s death does not appear to be a random homicide
2. Seth’s death does not appear to be a robbery gone bad
3. Seth death was more likely committed by a hired killer or serial murderer
4. There may be additional video surveillance of the crime and crime scene
5. The resolution of prosecuting the individual(s) responsible appears to be hindered both actively and passively
6. Seth’s killer(s) most likely remains free within the community

Bernie’s wife is accused of Bank fraud, One of his supporters goes on a murder rampage, another supporter gets a bullet in the back.

If Bernie were not anything but a Marxist  Progressive sometimes democrat. he would be frog marching somewhere.

Time will tell

Has Bernie decided to have a party of his very own?

Apparently he has. Maybe.

From the  American thinker

He announced at the meeting of the People’s Summit held in Chicago this past weekend (and attended by a reported 4,000 people) that what he viewed as utterly necessary to “fix” what ails the United States which was the creation of a People’s Party.  With himself, of course, as its leader, standard bearer, and candidate.

The People’s Summit which was organized by folks from the Bernie Sanders campaign and National Nurses United (NNU), a national nurses union with a reported 150,000 members.  The NNU was one of only six national unions to back Bernie over Hillary.  The Executive Director of NNU, RoseAnn DeMoro, is an active supporter of Sen. Sanders. Ms. DeMoro joined him on the stage after Sanders had finished speaking to the crowd at the Summit (many of whom waved professionally printed “Draft Bernie” signs).

How can you tell that Ms. DeMoro actually supports Bernie’s candidacy or the formation of a People’s Party?  Well, she managed to have her union donate $1,000,000 to Bernie’s failed 2016 presidential campaign.

No matter how you want to look at it, $1,000,000 is a lot of support, especially when it’s not your money.  It’s money raised from her union members.  You know, nurses.  Those “underpaid and overworked” nurses.  So just how underpaid are they?   Well, they were only able to reach into their own pockets and accumulate $1,000,000 to give to Bernie Sanders.

Personally I doubt that anything will come of this. Bernie is 75 years old, even though he appears to be in good health he knows things can easily go downhill very rapidly and unexpectedly. Especially if he decides to really take on the Clintons and the Democrat establishment.

Time will tell.

If this isn’t Treason I don’t know what is.

From Frontpage Mag.

Scotland and Norway’s environmental ministers have mentioned a focus on individual American states. And the secessionist governments of California, New York and Washington have announced that they will unilaterally and illegally enter into a foreign treaty rejected by the President of the United States. The Constitution is very clear about this. “No state shall enter into any treaty.” Governor Cuomo of New York has been equally clear. “New York State is committed to meeting the standards set forth in the Paris Accord regardless of Washington’s irresponsible actions.”

Cuomo’s statement conveniently comes in French, Chinese and Russian translations.

“It is a little bold to talk about the China-California partnership as though we were a separate nation, but we are a separate nation,” Governor Brown of California announced.

In an interview with the Huffington Post, the radical leftist described California as “a real nation-state”.

Brown was taking a swing through China to reassure the Communist dictatorship of California’s loyalty to an illegal treaty at the same time as EU boss Juncker was bashing America and kissing up to Premier Li Keqiang at the EU-China summit. It’s one thing when the EU and China form a united front against America. It’s quite another when California and China form a united front against America.

The Climate Alliance of California, New York, Washington, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Oregon, Colorado, Hawaii, Virginia and Rhode Island looks a lot like the Confederacy’s Montgomery Convention. Both serve as meeting points for a secessionist alliance of states to air their grievances against the Federal government over an issue in which they are out of step with the nation.

“We’re a powerful state government. We have nine other states that agree with us,” Brown boasted.

Two more and Jim Jones’ old pal could have his own confederacy.

Read it in its entirety.

Like the slaveowner class, leftist elites are letting the arrogance of their wealth lead them into treason. And as they look out from their mansions and skyscrapers, they should remember that the majority of working class people in California and New York will be far less enthusiastic about fighting a war to protect their dirty investments in solar energy plants and carbon credits funded by taxes seized from many of those same people in these left-wing slave states.

This President does have balls

President Trump has pulled the United States out from this wealth redistribution scam the Paris climate accords.

I totally agree with this decision.

The world is shocked and appalled.

From Truth Revolt

Trump’s decision delighted American conservatives but sent Progressives, who hate it when America chooses its own self-interest over their globalist agenda, into a frenzy. Progressives see Trump’s decision as evidence that the United States is wrong as usual and Trump hates the planet and wants children everywhere to die.Obama himself weighed in, in a statement: “Even in the absence of American leadership; even as this Administration joins a small handful of nations that reject the future, I’m confident that our states, cities, and businesses will step up and do even more to lead the way, and help protect for future generations the one planet we’ve got.”

Socialist Bernie Sanders called the move “an abdication of American leadership and an international disgrace.” Former Vice President Al Gore, whose carbon footprint alone is larger than South America’s, said it was “a reckless and indefensible action.”

Premier Li Keqiang of China, unapologetically one of the worst-polluting countries on the planet, said that fighting so-called climate change is a “global consensus” and an “international responsibility.”

If China, Obama, Sanders, and Gore are against it, then Trump’s move was the right one

Economics: Why is it that reporters keep scratching their heads about Venezuela’s descent into extreme poverty and chaos? The cause is simple. Socialism. End it and you will end the misery. When the New York Times wrote about Venezuela’s ongoing collapse a year ago, it described how the country was suffering “painful shortages … even of basic foods,” and how “electricity and water are being rationed, and huge areas of the country have spent months with little of either.”

Here is how the Times explained the reason for Venezuela’s dire situation: “The growing economic crisis (was) fueled by low prices for oil, the country’s main export; a drought that has crippled Venezuela’s ability to generate hydroelectric power; and a long decline in manufacturing and agricultural production.”

There’s no mention — not one — of the fact that Hugo Chávez tried to turn Venezuela into a socialist paradise, policies that his successor Nicolás Maduro has continued. The Times’ coverage is par for the course.

Read the article.

Venezuela has been feeling the Bern. Someday Vermont may feel it too.

Hillary Clinton’s first 100 days.

From the American thinker.

The First Amendment has undergone a refreshing rebranding under the Clinton administration.  “Hate groups, hateful individuals and hate speech will no longer be permitted to hide behind the Bill of Rights, like terrorists using civilian children as human shields” (also alleged but not disputed).  Accordingly, all universities that accept federal funding, or that accept students who have taken federal student loans or grants, have been advised to follow the leadership of the University of California, Berkeley in setting standards for who may be allowed to speak on campus.  Dozens of “Tea Party” groups have lost their tax-exempt status.  “Lois Lerner was too lenient,” one staffer remarked off the record.  “We are cracking down for real this time.”

Gun violence should be seeing a substantial reduction under the Clinton administration now that the national gun registry database is actively integrating records from state-level sales and other sources, and with mandatory universal enrollment required of all firearm owners before year’s end.  At least one source close to the administration has said candidly off the record that “the die is cast.  Before the end of the first HRC term, we’ll have [confiscated] all of their guns.”  When asked what about those gun owners who would not be willing to give up their guns regardless of cost to themselves, the same staffer shrugged.  “Then they will pay that cost.

Read it all.

Even if Trump falls short of our expectations, we dodged a bullet.  America as we had known it would be gone.

Fascism is on the march

Where? On our college campuses . Middlebury is only one example.

From Frontpage Mag.

Although universities and colleges are supposed to be places where ideas are exchanged and challenged, they are easily the most reactionary institutions in modern American society. Confronting the established wisdom there is a career-ender. Free speech exists in theory but only within the narrowest of prescribed limits. Speakers who violate the politically correct canon are shouted down, demonized, and assaulted. Truly new ideas are anathema in the academy, at least in the humanities and social sciences. Question identity politics, the cult of multiculturalism, or the evil inherent in white people and America, and your life in academia will be over before it begins.

“The cultural Marxism ideology that created identity politics in the first place now permeates the university far beyond the classroom,” opines Bruce Thornton, “and enables an intolerance for competing ideas, not to mention shutting down the ‘free play of the mind on all subjects’ that [English cultural critic] Matthew Arnold identified as the core mission of liberal education.”

And so the dominant illiberal ideology in higher education snuffs out its competition, marginalizing original thinking and combating intellectual diversity – and this weaponized intolerance spills over into the culture at large along the way. Free speech is a threat to the authoritarian glue that holds these taxpayer-supported warehouses of student indoctrination and conformity together, so it must be regulated. There is almost no life of the mind nowadays; there is the dictatorship of thought commissars. And woe to those who fail to toe the line.

America as it has existed is in deep shit.

A good friend of mine said that “it’s good that were old”  Meaning that if were lucky we won’t be around to see that hell on earth that the next two generations have created.

I still have hope.
