I know that some in my small readership find Styx somewhat “off-putting” but what he says hits the nail on the head, at least in my humble opinion.
Because he’s a resident of Vermont he’s aware that we live in a Democrat/progressive people’s republic that, to be honest, has not yet felt the full consequences of being a “sanctuary state” like certain big blue cities have.
His opinions agree with mine. which is why I like to share them on my humble platform.
I battled through the mud to get to my town polling place, I voted for Trump and against all school budgets.
As I expected, because Vermont has an “open” primary, Democrat voters took the opportunity to troll Donald Trump by taking a Republican ballot and voting for Nikki Haley. a symbolic gesture since Trump swept everywhere else.
Since Vermont is so inconsequential in the grand scheme of things hardly anyone noticed.
Either way, everyone in the world with with an ounce of common sense, our allies and our adversaries, know that Joe Biden is not in charge of the country.
This is what the majority of the people of Vermont voted for. Virtue signaling their disdain of Republicans in general and Trump in particular. The slow methodical brainwashing of the past three generations to leftist ideology via the public schools and universities. The leftist media flushing objectivity down the toilet, and the majority voting in a one-party dictatorship.
You gave the Democrats a super majority so they can do whatever the want , the middle class be damned.
‘The way to crush the bourgeoisie (middle class) is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation. (and regulation).
One thing Styx hits on is that this collapse of America was only possible because of the dumbing down of the last three if not four generations of Americans by government schools.
Do the voters in Vermont and the rest of New England who overwhelmingly voted for this demented criminal have any buyer’s remorse? A few might, but it would be Trump’s fault.

It is dis-hearting when the political party that you’d think would be fighting for conservative principles, lies exposed as sellouts just as corrupt as any democrat.
The swamp is far from being drained. It’s amazing to see how few allies in congress Trump had in his party.
