Vermont is doomed

Trans Democrats…Calvin Coolidge spins in his grave

There is no Republican party in Vermont. They are busy transitioning to Democrats.

Moderate Republicans in Vermont are pondering their next move after falling short in their effort to stop Donald Trump from becoming their party’s presidential nominee.
Nikki Haley’s supporters in Vermont pulled off what her backers in no other state could do last week — a victory in the Republican presidential primary.
They didn’t have long to savor the win. Fewer than 24 hours after the polls closed in Vermont, Haley announced that she was suspending her campaign. And that’s left anti-Trump Republicans pondering their next move…
This is so pathetic, and embarrassing.  It’s not enough that the Progressive/Democrat party has overwhelming majorities in the legislature (courtesy of voters to be sure) but the Republican party of Vermont is nothing but lapdogs afraid to be chastised by the media
They also got the big endorsement they were looking for, from Phil Scott, the most popular governor in the U.S. Scott appeared alongside Haley at a campaign event in South Burlington two days before the primary.
And it worked. Haley defeated Trump by four percentage points here — and then promptly dropped out of the race.
For Vermont Republicans such as Mary Evslin, it’s unclear how they’ll redirect the time and energy they’d been pouring into the one candidate they believed could stop Trump.
“There certainly are a lot of people who have nowhere to vote now,” said Evslin, also a co-chair of Haley’s Vermont leadership team.
Evslin said Haley represented a long-overdue new chapter in American politics. She said she could comfortably cast a vote for Biden in November.
“I think he’s a kind, good, decent human being,” she said. “I do not feel that way about Trump.

Of course, he is Ms. Evslin, I’ll bet you wish he was sniffing your hair right now.

When it comes to Trump it’s all personal. The good things President Trump accomplished during his term despite the media hoaxes, the swamp trying to destroy him, and half of the Republican party stabbing him in the back is remarkable. And all conveniently forgotten.

It makes one want to puke!

Of course, the article makes no mention of Vermont’s “open primary” where democrat parties are free to pick up a ‘Republican’ ballot to vote against Trump out of spite. Biden won the Democratic primary with nearly 90% of the vote, no drama there.

And if there was any doubt, we know where “the most popular governor in the U.S.” stands.
Gov. Scott has said he’ll do anything he can to prevent Trump from becoming the next president. Asked last week what he thinks Vermont Republicans should do to avoid that outcome, Scott offered some suggestions.
“Well, don’t vote for Donald Trump, number one,” he said. “Number two, educate your family members. Try to do your research and homework. Hold him accountable for the things he does and says that aren’t accurate.”
Scott said he’ll continue his own “resistance” against Trump whenever the opportunity presents.
In Vermont, there is the Democrat/Progressive party, the Uniparty (the pachyderm morphing into a jackass),
and the enemies of the state, people who support Donald Trump.

When I drive through the backroads of Central Vermont I come across more than a few residences flying a Trump flag, a Gadsden flag, and an American flag

Over 33,000 people checked the box for Trump. He lost by 3,086 votes to the Uniparty and crossover Democrats. Trump supporters are a minority, but we’re not a fringe. But how many are afraid to state openly our true beliefs and feelings to keep the peace in the family and workplace?

The media likes to portray Trump supporters as akin to “White Christian Nationalism”, so my hat is off to everyone who proclaims their beliefs in public without fear or compromise.

It’s going to be a very interesting, and dangerous spring and summer. Trump is running against a corrupt administration with a demented puppet as its titular head and the arrayed security apparatuses of the DOJ, FBI, and CIA.  And let’s not get started with the media. They are out to stop him by any means necessary.

Rest in Peace President Coolidge the “Brave Little State” that existed in your time doesn’t exist anymore. And it all happened within a single lifetime.

I’m glad I’m old.

This is what happens…

When the all-but-in-name Communist party of Vermont acquires a super legislative majority over its opposition, slowly and methodically the boot will be pressing down on that human face.

But always – do not forget this, Winston – always there will be the intoxication of power, constantly increasing and constantly growing subtler. Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face – for ever.

They want to transform the Constitution of Vermont into the 1936 Constitution of the Soviet Union.

Of course, free speech goes out the window.

This specifically targets a political intent.  The obviously unconstitutional S.265 makes little effort to hide the fact that its purpose is to intimidate voters against criticizing representatives – even when the latter are overtly violating basic tenets of law.  Legislators in Vermont have called to ban unvaccinated people from entering public buildings, suborned voter fraud, pushed for transgender therapies for children with no age limit or parental consent, distributed funds and privileges solely according to skin color, and are currently crafting numerous other patently unconstitutional laws.  Meanwhile, a Republican state senator who challenged a teacher on behalf of constituents for pressuring young students to employ gender pronouns was attacked by the Vermont Left for allegedly “doxxing” the teacher – for making his already-public email public.

and it continues with “environmental justice”

“Life, Liberty and Safety” now means infinite powers for the government to create a utopia via overt systemic discrimination. This jurisprudential somersault yields the racist system intended for Vermont:

“It is the policy of the State of Vermont that no segment of the population of the State should, because of its racial, cultural, or economic makeup, bear a disproportionate share of the environmental benefits or burdens.”

It seems that if you’re a “white” Vermonter who owns a nice home on a “few” acres on a quiet country dirt road in the backcountry of Vermont surrounded by beautiful fields and forests; you may have a “disproportionate share of the environmental benefits”, and it will be the prerogative of the government to take some of those benefits away from you and give them to people of color who on account of ‘white male privilege’ bear the “burden” of living in an urban setting with higher levels of pollution.

How this will be accomplished will be up to their imagination.

And if you voted for this crap I hope that you’ll have the decency to bend over and take it like a man…with a smile.

But how can this be…?

What happened to all their indoctrinated student footsoldiers of two years ago?

Were the students being away from their classrooms for an entire school year on account of the pandemic having a debilitating effect on their psyche?

What happened to the “safe” spaces”?

Since starting school roughly six weeks ago, students at Bristol Elementary School have broken the school’s piano, destroyed computers, and dented cars in the parking lot. In the Missisquoi Valley School District, more staff members may be added to handle an uptick in hazing, harassment, and bullying investigations.  And at a recent Addison Central School Board meeting, a substitute teacher warned that conditions at schools in the district had become “chaotic” and “unsafe.” I fear that you’re going to have a huge problem on your hands if something doesn’t change,” the teacher, Fawnda Buttolph, told the board Monday.

“The kids are in charge and they know it,” she said.

“In this school year, students are unsafe, the staff is unsafe, learning environments and learning tools have been damaged, classes are displaced from their only proves om to alternative — and inadequate — workplaces, learning for all grade levels has been disrupted, student work is ripped from the hallway walls and a general sense of helplessness and fear has permeated our school,” Murnane wrote in her statement, which was first reported by the Addison County Independent.

Well, you teachers have been telling your students for the last 15 years that we only have 12 years to save the planet.

Now your are shoving Critical Race Theory (CRT) down their throats. Teaching elementary students who are ‘white’ that they’re born racist and denying it will only prove that you are racist.

And let’s not forget the boys, who are taught that it’s not only their skin color but also their “TOXIC MASCULINITY”! It’s alright if they identify as girls, (and use the girl’s restroom and showers) but may the State forbid that boys should identify as boys.

“These are students in crisis who need our help,”

Haven’t you “helped” enough Asshole!!

You’re reaping what you’ve sown.

Meanwhile in Vermont’s Queen city

Bending over for “BLM”, and defunding the police seems to have had obvious unforeseen consequences”.

Public safety used to be the responsibility of civil law enforcement. Not anymore, now the city of Burlington is having to hire private security.

I wonder if they’ll do any better than the new traffic agents in New York City. Another example.

The city now plans to hire a private security firm to patrol the business district during daytime hours, officials told attendees. The guards would serve as “eyes and ears” who could help business owners handle disorderly conduct.

The move would be similar to steps the city has already taken to prevent illegal activity in City Hall Park. Weinberger said that initiative has had mixed success so far but should become more effective in the coming weeks since the city will authorize security guards to issue trespassing citations to unruly visitors of the park.

How on Earth did it come to this?

“We have men on Church Street who are preying on female employees every day,” Davis said at the meeting.

Cry me a river, Davis.

Society is circling the drain. But it’s not going to be my problem in about 10-15 years.

But the majority voted for this so choke on it.

Tyranny inches closer.

And it starts with “Critacal Race Theory”

Last week, a black Amazon delivery driver sucker-punched an elderly white woman after the victim rejected the driver’s snide remark about the “white privilege” of getting annoyed while waiting for a package. A few months back, a Yale lecturer spoke about her “fantasies of unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way.” Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot complained that too many of the journalists reporting on her are white

A noxious leftist ideology links all of these racist incidents, and it is already wreaking tremendous havoc on American society. This ideology justifies blatant racism in the name of promoting “equity.” It is spreading throughout American classrooms, corporate boardrooms, and legacy media outlets. One of its architects has even called for a totalitarian bureaucracy to enforce his vision of “equity.” This new racism masquerades as “anti-racist,” but I have tried to warn it judges people according to the color of their skin, not the content of their character.

So many survivers from communist hellholes have tried to warn us over the past decades .

Would any millennail in living in Vermont today know that Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn spent nearly twenty years in exile in the town of Cavindish? Would any millennial even have even heard of him, much less read any of his written works?

When I was but a callow youth the mantra of my generation was “question authorty” and that “dissent is the highest form of patriotism”.

Not anymore it seems, now don’t dare question that you have “white privilage”, that you’re automaticly a racist by the color of your skin. Also don’t you dare question the effectiveness of masks or proclamations of Pope Fauci. Like climate change (“the science is settled”) Science has become a religion.

A fear things are going to get worse and I’ll likely not live long enough to see them get better.

I’m glad I’m old.

Vermont is circling the drain.

Remember when equality was the goal. Remember Dr. Martin Luther King when he said this. Dr. King was a martyr for the cause of civil rights for all Americans regardless of skin color. But that was a long, long time ago. And it seems obvious that they don’t even teach about the Man, his principles or his dream anymore.

Anyway, Dr. King’s already been cancelled..

You have to be carefully taught to hate(yourself), you have to be carefully taught.

And remember, we as taxpayers are footing the bill for this crap.

At least one Vermont School District (Essex-Westford, or EWSD) has instituted Critical Race Theory (CRT) “teaching” in its classrooms.  Integral to the “race as sole issue” foundation of CRT is the dismissal of free speech and “equality” as tools of white supremacy and the advocacy of direct (reverse?) discrimination and even shaming as necessary tools to redress historic racism.  As part of its curriculum, the ESWD has endorsed the poetry of a “Vermont poet and educator” (relocated from Los Angeles) named Rajnii Eddins.  The raging racism of Eddins’s poetry reflects the toxic vitriol of CRT.

Oh well, perhaps teaching white Vermont students that they’re racist scumbags will take their minds off believing the world is ending in ten years due to climate change.

And speaking of scumbags...

Vermont will be a dangerous place

For anyone suspected of voting for and supporting President Trump.

coup 20210118 02.jpg

And it will be none other than the Vermont Republican Party throwing these people, who in all likelihood helprd to vote them into office, under the bus.

First order of business will be a revision of Vermont’s history.

Vermont Representative Anne Donahue was responding to the state GOP’s effort to appease a leftist initiative at creating a “BIPOC” (black and indigenous people of color) bank to serve the needs of Vermont’s miniscule minority population. In a carefully worded introduction to their own bill, the Republicans spoke of “the historic socio-economic disparities arising from racism, while acknowledging Vermont’s proud heritage of tolerance toward BIPOC, and intolerance toward prejudice and slavery.”

This, according to Donahue, didn’t go far enough: “the intro to one of the bills references “Vermont’s proud heritage of tolerance toward BIPOC. ….I do not think mere “tolerance toward BIPOC” would be a “proud history,” nor would I find it a matter of pride today to say that I was merely tolerant of those in the BIPOC community.”

Donahue condemns Vermont’s heritage — and its people — for “mere tolerance.”  This dovetails perfectly with Critical Race Theory, which seeks to eliminate the Constitution in favor of something “more tolerant,” but never defined.  What is it that she now propounds she takes pride in toward the BIPOC community that is “more than merely tolerant”?

And now according to our weasal ‘Republican’ Governor Phil Scott his own Republican party leadership is racist. And Republican legislatures also piled on:

Vermont’s Legislators enthusiastically seized Scott’s cue, producing J.R.H.1 calling for the President to resign or to be removed from office.

Vermont GOP Party Chair Deb Billado condemned the D.C. violence as “wrong, immoral and against the fundamental principles that we hold dear.”  This wasn’t enough for Phil Scott.

On January 8, GOP senator Joe Benning published a scathing condemnation of Trump’s followers:

“Today I saw a picture of a busload of Vermonters on their way to Washington, D.C. They were Donald Trump supporters who remain convinced his election was stolen. I want to believe that all of them on that bus were heading down for a peaceful protest… I have to wonder whether anyone in that group got duped into joining the assault of that beautiful and historic building…. These thugs were Republicans devoted completely to Donald Trump. They are not “Patriots.” They are not “real Americans.” They are anarchists who believe in mob rule, plain and simple.”

Benning declared he “can no longer tolerate extremists posing as Republicans,” and joined with other Vermont GOP to demand that Deb Billado and the Party leadership must sign the Legislative Resolution or resign.

GOP representative Scott Beck complained that the GOP statement failed to accuse Trump of direct responsibility or call on him to resign.

So the Vermont Republican party has denounced and renounced everyone in Vermont who voted for Donald Trump despite the fact that they also voted for the very same ‘Republicans’ who managed to win political office.

I will concede that out of 248,412 votes Phil Scott received only 112,704 voted for Trump. Scott even received more votes than Biden (242,820) so it’s plain that despite the enthusiastic rallies and support that I personally saw for Donald Trump we’re still a minority so Phil Scott and the GOP leadership feel perfectly justified in accusing nearly 113,000 Vermonters of being ‘white supremacist’ and kicking us to the curb.

The Vermont Republican Party is dead to me. I will never give them another penney

They hate us, they really really hate us.

Let’s see if we start losing our jobs, and be forced to wear armbands and duncecaps.

And come for our firearms.

Building the Network of Informers.

Right here in little old Vermont.

This weasel only got re-elected because (1) He’s a weasel RINO and (2) The alternatve was even worse.

Vermont Gov. Phil Scott said during a press conference on Tuesday that schools in the state will include new questions during daily health checks  about whether students and their parents attended gatherings outside of their households following the Thanksgiving holiday.

Scott noted that any students who attend events with more than just their immediate household will be required to either take online classes for a two-week quarantine period or quarantine for a week and then have a negative COVID-19 test.

“We understand how difficult this is, but since we know these types of gatherings have been the cause of so many outbreaks, we’ve got to do all we can to slow this down,” Scott said

The governor also encouraged businesses to take the same approach with their employees.

“From my standpoint, this is fair warning to those of you who are planning to have gatherings from outside your household for Thanksgiving,” Scott added. “If you don’t want your kids to have to transition to remote learning and quarantine for a seven-day period, maybe you ought to make other plans.”

The latest effort comes as state officials have warned small gatherings are fueling the recent spike in coronavirus cases, and worry Thanksgiving gatherings with people from multiple households could exacerbate the problem.

It’s always better to start them informing at a young age. They’ll get used to it with practice. Besides, it will be for their parants own good.

Local news.

So Vemont’s choice is for Governor is a CUCK RINO incombent and a Progressive pretending to be a democrat.

Does Vermont continue to slowly circle the drain towards Socialism and the loss of Freedom it entails? Or should we just hit the “Flush handle”, do it all at once and get it over with? Burlington and Caracas sister cities.

It doesn’t bod well for this fall. the Vermont Primary results reveal that for Governor the democrat primary vote exceded the Rebublican vote by nearly 40,000.

Fifty years of indoctrination, K-12 through college coming home to roost.

Vermonters seem hell bent to turn the State into a SHITHOLE.

The Liberal rich will do fine for a while. Until they decide to leave. Young people with ambition will leave. In order to have “free” healthcare taxes will be raised and goverment will ration. And if Vermont is to save the Planet draconian enviromental policies like the Green New Deal will need to be inacted. This will require ENFORCEMENT! This will require the State Government to become Authoritarian.

Authoritarianism is a form of government characterized by strong central power and limited political freedoms. Political scientists have created many typologies describing variations of authoritarian forms of government. Authoritarian regimes may be either autocratic or oligarchic in nature and may be based upon the rule of a party or the military.

Does Vermont slash its wrist and die slowly. or do it quick with a bullet.

That’s our choice this fall.

Freedom and Unity??

Freedom of speech is slowly being eroded away and looking at this there isn’t much unity either.

Another essay by John Klar from “American Thinker”.

Despite residing in the most rural of states, many leftist Vermonters suddenly presume to be great experts on the inner-city suffering of black Americans, and have launched a fervent ideological mission — despite COVID and an imploding economy — to implement radical societal change to advance the lives of “people of color.”  In doing so, Vermont’s government has become chief arbiter, and it refuses to permit any voices of dissent — defacing a BLM sign, or calling BLM racist, is regarded as hate speech

The capital city commissioned the painting of a Black Lives Matter mural in front of the State House but denied a request to paint “Liberty and Justice for All” for Independence Day.  Vermont governor Phil Scott advised the Agency of Transportation to leave BLM graffiti undisturbed but to remove any opposing messaging.  One school board recently announced that gay pride and BLM flags will be displayed when schools reopen, refusing to even consider a petition in opposition signed by more than 500 residents.  One school principal was fired for opining that white people should not be labeled racist simply for refusing to endorse BLMRead More

John Klar is a canidate for Governor. The local media says that he’s a long shot. We shall see.

Primary day is August 11th. Make your feelings known. VOTE!!

Governor Phil Scott is a….

total dipshit!

He won his last election against a confused man in a dress. But it was simply a case of bad vs. worse.

Phil Scott is a like Chief Justice John Roberts, someone we thought had conservative values and would stand up and fight for them. We understand that the Left has a super majority in the legislature. When it came to new laws dealing with abortion and gun rights instead of vetoing and forcing the legislature to override his vetos he simply acquiesced. He bent over, grabbed his ankles and took it with a smile.

But now Phil gets to become be a little dictator and force the sheeple of Vermont to wear masks and to placate all the “Karens” . Now this is what Leftist Progressives crave, getting people accustomed to losing their freedom a little bit at a time. And Phil Scott is their perfect dupe.

Hopefully the Republicans of Vermont can sent a message on Primary day August 11th. I’m voting for John Klar.
