Proverbs for 2021

A wise man’s heart inclines him to the right, but a fool’s heart to the left.
–(Ecc 10:2)

There are three things that progressives crave, yea, four things that they diligently seek: status, power, adulation, and other people’s money.

If the government is allowed to ignore the law in an emergency, then the government will create emergencies in order to ignore the law.

Who has real power? Whoever is not permitted to be laughed at.

When Republicans screw up, that’s the story. When the Democrats screw up, the Republicans’ reaction is the story. (h/t Jim Treacher)

Hate has no home here, but vengeance has a master suite, resentment is in the guest room, and entitlement sleeps every night on the couch. (h/t Berserker-Dragonheads Division)

Conservatives bring knives to the gunfight, but progressives bring guns to the knife fight.

Journalists give awards to one another for the fake news they publish and FBI agenta pat themselves on the back for stopping conspiracies they themselves incite.

Marxists hate capitalism, but they really love money. (h/t kbdabear)

Women tend to be liberals because they need the government to replace all the males they’ve pushed out of their lives.

Hating women is misogyny. Hating men is feminism.

There are no independent fact checkers. If there were, the media would ignore them and big tech would censor them. (h/t Pat Condell)

Never take history lessons from people who think the world started the day they were born. (h/t G’rump928(c))

We can be reassured that the GOP has our back — mostly with a knife in it.(h/t J.J. Sefton)

Like a den of lying weasels or a clown car crammed with traitors, so is the weekly Bulwark staff meeting.

Things are not getting worse, they are getting uncovered.

But how can this be…?

What happened to all their indoctrinated student footsoldiers of two years ago?

Were the students being away from their classrooms for an entire school year on account of the pandemic having a debilitating effect on their psyche?

What happened to the “safe” spaces”?

Since starting school roughly six weeks ago, students at Bristol Elementary School have broken the school’s piano, destroyed computers, and dented cars in the parking lot. In the Missisquoi Valley School District, more staff members may be added to handle an uptick in hazing, harassment, and bullying investigations.  And at a recent Addison Central School Board meeting, a substitute teacher warned that conditions at schools in the district had become “chaotic” and “unsafe.” I fear that you’re going to have a huge problem on your hands if something doesn’t change,” the teacher, Fawnda Buttolph, told the board Monday.

“The kids are in charge and they know it,” she said.

“In this school year, students are unsafe, the staff is unsafe, learning environments and learning tools have been damaged, classes are displaced from their only proves om to alternative — and inadequate — workplaces, learning for all grade levels has been disrupted, student work is ripped from the hallway walls and a general sense of helplessness and fear has permeated our school,” Murnane wrote in her statement, which was first reported by the Addison County Independent.

Well, you teachers have been telling your students for the last 15 years that we only have 12 years to save the planet.

Now your are shoving Critical Race Theory (CRT) down their throats. Teaching elementary students who are ‘white’ that they’re born racist and denying it will only prove that you are racist.

And let’s not forget the boys, who are taught that it’s not only their skin color but also their “TOXIC MASCULINITY”! It’s alright if they identify as girls, (and use the girl’s restroom and showers) but may the State forbid that boys should identify as boys.

“These are students in crisis who need our help,”

Haven’t you “helped” enough Asshole!!

You’re reaping what you’ve sown.

Meanwhile in Vermont’s Queen city

Bending over for “BLM”, and defunding the police seems to have had obvious unforeseen consequences”.

Public safety used to be the responsibility of civil law enforcement. Not anymore, now the city of Burlington is having to hire private security.

I wonder if they’ll do any better than the new traffic agents in New York City. Another example.

The city now plans to hire a private security firm to patrol the business district during daytime hours, officials told attendees. The guards would serve as “eyes and ears” who could help business owners handle disorderly conduct.

The move would be similar to steps the city has already taken to prevent illegal activity in City Hall Park. Weinberger said that initiative has had mixed success so far but should become more effective in the coming weeks since the city will authorize security guards to issue trespassing citations to unruly visitors of the park.

How on Earth did it come to this?

“We have men on Church Street who are preying on female employees every day,” Davis said at the meeting.

Cry me a river, Davis.

Society is circling the drain. But it’s not going to be my problem in about 10-15 years.

But the majority voted for this so choke on it.
