Three (Massachusetts) men arrested for trafficking fentanyl

These three were just arrested for (allegedly) trafficking opioids into the Democratic Peoples Republic of Vermont. From their mug shots they certainly don’t seem too upset.
Is it racist of me to ask if if these three are in our country illegally?
Vermont Controled Substance statues, Section 4233b
(b) Trafficking. A person knowingly and unlawfully possessing fentanyl in an amount consisting of 70 milligrams or more of one or more preparations, compounds, mixtures, or substances containing fentanyl with the intent to sell or dispense the fentanyl shall be imprisoned not more than 30 years or fined not more than $1,000,000.00, or both. There shall be a permissive inference that a person who possesses fentanyl in an amount of 70 milligrams or more of one or more preparations, compounds, mixtures, or substances containing fentanyl intends to sell or dispense the fentanyl. The amount of possessed fentanyl under this subsection to sustain a charge of conspiracy under 13 V.S.A. § 1404 shall be not less than 70 milligrams in the aggregate.
(c) Transportation into the State. In addition to any other penalties provided by law, a person knowingly and unlawfully transporting more than 20 milligrams of fentanyl into Vermont with the intent to sell or dispense the fentanyl shall be imprisoned not more than 10 years or fined not more than $100,000.00, or both. (Added 2017, No. 62, § 4.)
Again, they don’t look very upset at being arrested. It seems like a big joke to Miguel. Wither they are in the country illegally or not, we the public probably not get to know. I’m sure they’re well aware that (sanctuary State) Vermont authorities will not be turning them over to any Federal authorities in any event. They’re Vermont’s problem now. It will be interesting to see that ‘if’ convicted what kind of a sentence will be handed down.

Governor Scott and Vermont attorney general T.J. Donovan have vocally condemned the Green Mountain State and its inhabitants as racist, based on statistics that show that blacks are incarcerated at a higher rate than whites and are more likely to be stopped by police. But there has been no analysis of whether these disparities are due to higher arrest rates of “people of color” as a consequence of a thriving opioid crisis.
Vermont’s culture is one of dairy farming, verdant mountain scenery, maple syrup, and small-town hospitality. Both the governor and the gubernatorial hopeful who may oppose him next year openly characterize Vermonters’ culture as innately racist. Scott praised Donovan’s Report declaring Vermont a “White Supremacy Culture” and proudly signed a law March 29 that will create a school curriculum designed to “change the underlying culture of our state.”
Hey Vermonters, this is what happens when you give super majorities to fanatical left wing Progressives and vote in a neutered Republican for governor who only won because Vermonters were not ready to vote in a confused man in a dress.

Montpelier tried to improve the average on Wednesday.
Although Independence Day celebrations are largely non-partisan, there was plenty of politicking about the current Trump administration and its policies in Wednesday’s parade.
Several floats making political protests included: Extinction Rebellion, which is fighting climate change; Sustainable Montpelier Coalition, with a cardboard float that is “recyclable” and will be used again next year; Vermonters for Palestinian and Migrant Justice; All Things LGBT; and Indivisible groups from Calais, Mad River Valley, Onion River (Plainfield/Marshfield), and the Northeast Kingdom, protesting the handling of the Mueller Report.
