The Green New Deal was never about adressing Climate Change but taking control of the economy.
Why go to college? Why go to night school?

Recently, the state of Vermont announced that pension and health benefits for state employees and teachers are underfunded to the tune of $4.5 billion (in a tiny state of just 627,180 residents). Then, in protest against Trump administration rule changes, it diverted some $750,000 from state coffers (each year, indefinitely) to fund abortion services through Planned Parenthood rather than continue to accept federal subsidies which had been proffered since 1970…

Vermont flipping Red? Wishful thinking I’m afraid. Vermont was the first State to go on the board for Hillary. Every county including the Northeast Kingdom went blue. Progressives run education, they’ve indoctrinated the last three generations. They own the media. Our rino governor only won the last election because we were not quite ready to vote in a confused man in a dress.
Finally, why bother funding pensions when climate change is going to do us all in anyway.
Many Vermonters are voting with their feet and moving vans.
Teachers pensions are underfunded. After a career of indoctrinating our youth in the religion of climate change. Teaching American history according Howard Zinn. And just dumbing them down in general. I would play for them a sad song on the worlds smallest violin.
And of course…
Vermont hospitals are now forcing nurses to participate in abortions aginst their will.
Vermont has changed so much in my lifetime. And not for the better.

During his administration he waponized government bureaucracies including the I.R.S. the E.P.A. and the F.B.I. to harass and intimidate his political opponants.
But he never quite got around to truly forming an organizating on the par of this.
Now in order to save the planet in 12 years it will be necessary for the government to weld an “Iron Fist” and it likely won’t be in a “velvet glove”.

Add to the fact that many on the left want Climate skeptics jailed.

Today the Democrats/Progressives/ Socialist/Communist have something quite similar

And none of the Democratic canidates will denounce Antifa specificly.
Was this what Obama had in mind?
