You knew this was going to happen. It couldn’t have been any other way. Bernie caucuses with the democrats. If he hadn’t he would became a REAL independent in the Senate. Especially if Hillary should lose because Bernie’s supporters decided to sit this on out. The democrats still haven’t forgiven Ralph Nader for Florida.
In Vermont according to the latest poll it’s 62% to 31% Hillary over Trump. This woman should be in prison. She may be the next POTUS. But she’ll be our first WOMAN president. And we’ll have free healthcare, free college tuition, and a $15 min. wage. Who could possibly be against that. Those EVIL Republicans that’s who. I wish we could set up an exchange student program. Send 1000 Vermont high school students to study for a year in Venezuela. and bring 1000 Venezuelan students to Vermont to stay with nice liberal families. That would be interesting to see what results.
I do think that another factor is in play. Yes, they’re conditioned to love Hillary and that big “D” by her name but they Hate Republicans, Conservatives, Christians, Capitalism, freedom, and the Constitution MORE!
At least 2 Generations have been brainwashed into believing that their country sucks and Republicans are evil. Howard Zinn’s history books are required in our schools. College Campuses are nothing but indoctrination centers for the left. This may be the most important election in America since 1860.
A friend of mine has said that we’re lucky to be old, that we won’t be around to see the final catastrophe that will finally put an end to the grand experiment that was America.
Perhaps one person who should be wary if Hillary should become POTUS is that old pervert Bill. Like the drones in an Ant or Bee colony, he will have served his purpose. The Queen will have no further use for him. If he thinks that they’ll be co-presidents he may be in for a rude awakening.

When one generation gets old they often reminisce about the times when they were young. I was born at the beginning of the age of television. Black and white and only two channels, on ABC, the other CBS. Cable and NBC didn’t arrive on my street until 1966. We didn’t have dial phones, party lines still existed. Standard shift meant cars with a clutch and you had to move a stick to shift. The sound system was an AM radio, FM was an option, as was A/C. The most modern office equipment was a electric typewriter. Needed a copy? That’s what carbon paper was for.
For our Parents the technological advancements that occurred in the 60’s were nothing short of amazing, (We landed on the moon for crying out loud) compared to the times of their youth in the 1920’s and 30’s. But airplanes and radio existed then, not for their parents who still used the horse and buggy.
The same holds true today for us baby boomers. The internet, laptop computers, cell phones, and flat screen T.V’s to name a few examples.
But while technology has progressed in quantum leaps, something else has regressed. Our love and desire for freedom. That, along with moral relativism which has all but destroyed societies ability and desire to state unequivocally what is right and what is wrong.
It seems to me that millennials, unlike us old fogies have no concept of history. It’s like the world was created the day they were born. And their corruption by government run schools and colleges has been very through.
They’re just such little snowflakes. They start to melt whenever their worldview is questioned. Being pro-life on campus is just the latest.
They want everything to be “free”, free college, free healthcare, free from worry. free from ideas they don’t agree with. Make the “rich” pay for it. They want to be sheep, to be taken care of. What they fail to realize is that sheep require shearing. and sometimes led to slaughter. But it will never be them, always those other people.
According to Wikipedia Arlo is now a registered Republican. Was a Ron Paul supporter, and is a believer in the Constitution. He’s disappointed in both political parties. As am I.
Arlo remembers a time and place when “littering” was considered a major crime and Tricky dick didn’t get away with it. But today if you have a “D” by your name you can. It’s the Democrats who want to shred the Constitution.
Arlo remembers what it was like when he was young. Millennials can’t conceive of getting old, or ever considering that they might be wrong.
Troubling times indeed.
