The Governor of Virginia has just pardoned 60,000 ~~felons~~ socially friendly persons. just in time to vote and possibly swing the election.

The criminal class is a very important voting block for progressives. To the very rich liberal democrats who inhabit Northern Virginia who the vast majority are employed by the Federal Government and depend on those fat paychecks and our looking forward to your fat government pensions, make sure that you have plenty of armed security guarding those gated communities where you all live.

Have you every noticed in traffic or in a parking lot when you see the rear of a car covered with bumper stickers that it is most always progressive/ liberal. Well Conservatives try to respect private property. Libs on the other hand are nothing but tolerant.

Vote as if your future depends on it. Because it does.

Times Argus is under new ownership but editorially it’s exactly the same.

Yesterday they endorsed Hillary Clinton for President. America’s version of Evita Peron.

Hillary Clinton is a liar, a crook, medically and mentally unstable, an absolute danger to national security, and an enabler of a sexual predator.

This is some of what the Times Argus had to say.

It would be laughable, if it were not so potentially dangerous, that Hillary Clinton’s supposed transgressions are measured on the same scale with Trump’s flagrant disregard for standards of decent behavior. She sent email messages on the wrong server. This does not even register as a venial sin when compared to the history of sexual predation, business predation, tax evasion and lack of experience, knowledge or learning that characterize her opponent’s life.

It’s worth reminding ourselves of the program that Clinton hopes to carry out. Here is some of it.

— A simplified tax code for small business.

— Increased health care credits and expanded coverage under Obamacare.

— More money for community health centers and child care and for the financing of college.

— Higher taxes on high earners and steps to halt the abuse of offshore tax havens by companies.

— Major expenditures on infrastructure, adding jobs and rebuilding the nation.

— Training and apprenticeship programs to help workers displaced by new technology and trade.

And where pray tell is the money for all this coming from?

Oh by the way the “high earners”, the top 1% pay nearly 40% of the taxes. The top 10% pays nearly 70 %. The bottom 50% pays 2.78% of all income taxes. But if they agree to stay poor and vote democrat they can get “free stuff” courtesy of the people with paychecks.

But they must be talking about all those nasty billionaires, you know Mark Zuckerburg, Tom Steyer, Bloomburg, Buffet, and the one and only Dr. Evil George Soros. The ones who give generously to liberal and progressive causes, so no one questions wither you have too much money. No! they will feel no pain.

And certainly not the masses coming across our open border who will get welfare and free healthcare.

No, the people who will be screwed will be those in the middle.

A simplified tax code for small business? How about this, How much profit did you make last year? Send it in.

Government does not create wealth. It can only ~~steal~~ take from those who earn it.

But then it’s all about the ideology. Freedom be damned. unless it’s the freedom of a farm animal.

Of course this is only MY OPINON, but the Times Argus and the vast majority of media’s problem is obvious.

Trump has his flaws…but he’s preferable to the alternative.

History and future, what has been and what has yet to be.

Leftist, Marxist Communist, Socialist, progressives all concur on this point. The march of history points to the inevitable triumph of a Progressive utopia.

But if a certain change is truly inevitable, why is it important for human agency to lend a hand, indeed to struggle mightily on its behalf? Here we turn to the critical matter of timing. While a change may be inevitable, the intervention of man can and will speed up this most desired of happenings. Man can function, in one of Marx’s favorite obstetrical metaphors, as a “midwife” of history.2 Man’s intervention could give the inevitable a helpful push.

Progressives in the west and especially in America have been very patient. They dedicate themselves to a cause even though they understand that they most likely were not going to be alive when final victory was achieved. It is their religion.

But will it really be so? Is Socialism a historical inevitability? Well if “the intervention of man” can speed it up then the intervention of man can stop or at least slow it down.

Obama care, which was intended to fail from its inception was to be a stepping stone to single payer. “Free” healthcare the best avenue for big government to place a dog collar around the necks of the people

Sadly, we have had at least three recent examples where one man might have changed the course of history, but they turned out to be cowards.

Former Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska, a “pro-life” democrat, who in the past had voted with republicans against his party leadership. He even had a favorable rating from the NRA. But on Christmas Eve 2009 his vote was what put Obama care over the top.

Question, How many thousands of pages of the Obamacare bill were there that Congress had no time to read?

One Vote. Party loyalty came first over his “principles”. He did not want to go down in history as the man who de-railed the first black presidents signature achievement and the goal of 100 years of “progressive” politics.

Next: Chief Justice John Roberts who decided that he did not want to go down in history as the man who de-railed the first black presidents signature achievement. He stated that the law was unconstitutional as written. So he took it upon himself to re-write it as a “tax” which made it constitutional. That made it 5-4 siding with the leftist on the court. then he wrote both the majority and minority opinions. Then he left town in a hurry.

I didn’t know that the Supreme Court was allowed to re-write legislation.

One vote Chief Justice Roberts did not want to go down in history as the man who de-railed the first black presidents signature achievement.

Finally we have the head of the F.B.I. James Comey. who gave a laundry list of why Hillary Clinton should be indicted then weaseled out saying that they couldn’t find intent. I guess that he did not want to go down in history as the one who indicted the potential first women president.

Hillary should be in prison for treason.

Update: Comey is perhaps trying to redeem himself, A revolt in the ranks of the F.B.I. may have persuaded him.

In Comey’s defense he is dealing with the most corrupt and politicized Justice Dept. that country has ever known.

Three men who could have changed the course of history (or future) for the better. And they decided to take a pass.

A question to our Representatives in the Democrat party

Dear Patrick Leahy , Peter Welch, Bernie Sanders, Peter Shulmin, unless your heads have been stuck up in a dark place for the past few weeks you’ve no doubt seen, heard or read about Project Veritas and the WikiLeaks emails exposing the absolute corruption of your political party.

Now I understand that Democrat party today is not the same party of 40-50 years ago. it has morphed in the kind of party that even Lenin would say was moving in the correct direction. It’s obviously very disciplined! The DNC. rigged the primary against Bernie. His campaign was doomed from the start. Yet today he licks her shoes and tells everyone who supported had him to do the same. Well, Bernie is an old Bolshevik. He knows his place. Besides he just got a new dacha by the lake.

Pat Leahy is one of the most senior member of the U.S. Senate. He should have the same respect and is words should carry a lot of weight. All I can say is that Pat Leahy is no George Akin, no” wise old owl”. As far as I can see he doesn’t care or he doesn’t dare. Is anything beneath you Senator Leahy?

Peter Welch is still a relative newbe. He keeps his mouth shut. The house leaders are not called “whips” for nothing.

Our departing Governor was all in for Hillary from the start. Maybe he had inside information.

But then if they spoke out, actually agreeing with republicans and conservatives that their party is doing things that they would be screaming hole hell if republicans were engaged in this. They might lose their next election. Such as it presently is in the Peoples Republic of Vermont.

They’ve sold their souls to the alter of progressivism.

As the late Uncle Walt would say, “and that’s the way it is”.

Trying to discuss issues with Liberals (It’s not easy)

One of the things I’ve noticed when trying to “discuss” the issues with liberals is the that it seems to me that they will steadfastly refuse to read any articles or blogs that does not agree with their liberal politics. I’ve tried to “encourage them to read blogs such as “American Thinker” , “Ace of Spades”, “Bookworm Room” etc.. Or to listen to a few programs of Rush Limbaugh or Andrew Willkow on Sirius XM. But I doubt that they ever do.

What they read instead are the Times Argus/Free press, The New York Times, the New Yorker, Newsweek, Time, Esquire, National Geographic, the Smithsonian. What they watch is ABC,CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC ESPN and PBS.

If Yahoo is your home page to the internet then there you go. The progressive message is everywhere, being reinforced. Climate change, free healthcare, and of course political correctness.

It’s taught in our schools K to 12, and in practically every college.

Did I mention Hollywood, with it’s multi-millionaire celebrities who live in gated mansions with armed security who tells us that we need to get rid of our guns, and to save the environment while they fly in private jets.

James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas, and Julian Assange’s WikiLeaks E-mail releases show the corruption and outright criminality of the entire DNC which will leave nothing to chance in their effort to elect Hillary.

None of this seems to matter, either to Pat L. or Peter W. loyal democrats all or Bernie S. who got shafted but nonetheless bows down.

Do you remember a slogan going around years ago, “question everything”, well for Libs the “science is settled. It’s easier not to question, and safer.

At my place of employment I’m acquainted with two gentlemen who are very liberal. They both supported Bernie for President. They both have misgivings about Hillary. but not enough it seems that they could vote for Trump.

They believe in open borders, and seem to have no problem with bringing in 100,000 refugees from the middle east. After all our government will have vetted them. It’s the right thing to do.

They have faith in Big government to be fair and just.

But I seem to be started to grate on one of them. The other day he call me a “far right winger”. I had offered to tell him about my blog and invited him to read it. He refused, he wanted nothing to do with it. He’s a good person but I doubt I’ll engage in political debate with him again.

I’m sure neither of them would ever stoop to listen to Rush.

This is what the sincerely believe, until someday they are mugged by reality. And even then…

November 8th will be here soon. Then we will Know.
