I remarked to my friend “Ace” just this morning as why is it evil bastards like George Soros seem immortal and patriots like Hulk Hogan are taken from us much too soon.

At least “woke” appears to by dying if not dead. An obiturary I’m very anxious to read.

Progressives love to compare Donald Trump to Adolph Hitler.

Hitler survived over 40 assassination attempts, Trump is a distant second with only eleven since 2016.

Hitler, and today’s progressive socialist have a lot in common. The only glaring difference being that Hitler and his National Socialist hated Marxism/Communism. Progressives are enamored with Marxism/Communism. But both ideologies murdered millions of people on a mass scale and millions more behind barb wire and watchtowers.

One by race, the other by class.

Climate Change, Random thoughts / July 14, 2025

Here in New England I’ve witnessed “most” of what Mother Nature can throw at you. I’ve experienced a range of summer conditions, including “hot, humid” summers, cool summers, Wet summers (catastrophically), and drought summers, where reservoirs and people’s wells are nearly dry. 

Winters, the same, cold winters, not so cold winters. Lots of snow, not so much snow.

Human lifespans are to short to comprehend changes that can occur over the course of centuries. I would not deny that human activity can play a role in the climate, but the science of climate has become so politicized that anyone questioning certain tenants are labeled deniers. But it’s not about “saving the planet”,  it’s about who will control the masses when people will “own nothing and be happy”.

“Civilizations depend on reliable aboundant energy. When it needs to be rationed by the powers in charge it becomes another milestone on “The Road to Serfdom”.

America is 249 years old. After the events of the last 25 years, my feeling was that the best days of America were in the rear view mirror.  At least I had had the privlige of living during America’s last great days. Despite winning the cold war with the country formally known as the USSR, the Marxist cancer that had long existed inside American academia metastasized.From it’s origins, (The Frankfurt School) it has spread to our colleges and universities, into the bureaucracy, journalism, and finally to K-12.

Two significant symptoms of this cancer are known, TDS and wokeness,

the latter infecting businesses who should have known better, see Bud Light, Jaguar, Disney, et al.

Donald Trump will go down in history as the greatest President the 21st centuray so far.

What he endured for the last 8 years prior to his re-election, he was backstabbed by some in his own party (RINO’s). The deep state bureaucracy, NGO’s the FBI and CIA. The Judicary, both Federal and state, (the State of New  York in particuliar), had waged a relentless lawfare against him in order to disqualify his candidacy at least or to imprison him at best.

They attempted to kill him (twice), the first time by a millimeter.

But despite all their efforts, the American people returned Donald Trump to the White House. 

And since his return he has done incredible things too many to list here. It culminating in the signing of “Big Beautiful Bill” on America’s birthday. this bill, now law brings Whether or not we get the results advertised, time will tell. 

The fact that not one Democrat in the Senate or the house voted for it makes me hopeful that this bill will will be good for America.
