4. “No human is illegal”…But what about their actions? Are they ever illegal?
5. “Climate change is real”…and we’re already pastSuburban the point of no return, so we’re screwed
6. “Women’s rights are human rights”…and that includes women with penises.

7. “Kindness is everything”…but really, to everyone?

 

And this is what you vote for, someday soon you’re going to have to take the consequences. And you better take it with a smile.

Is always a deadly combination.

 

I have a good friend who like me, is an “old white guy”. He holds a similar position as “the old white guy” mentioned in the video. He’s employed by a multinational company and is so respected that he is on a first-name basis with top executives of his company and their customers. He knows his shit, and they listen.

 

A short while back he had mentioned a company-wide conference call from his VP that dealt with “pride month” and “DEI” diversity, equity, and inclusion. He said he logged on out of curiosity and discovered that very few people in his company had bothered to participate.  He didn’t say anything but his boss noticed ‘his’ participation, a few brownie points for the future if he ever has to issue a report that his bosses don’t want to hear.

It is a victory for free speech, unfortunately, the cost will be borne by the taxpayers of the town.

 

A Vermont school district punished a father and his daughter for speaking out against a biological male in the girls’ locker room. Now, The Daily Signal has learned, the district has settled with the Allen family in what its legal team is hailing as a “resounding victory.”

That settlement requires that the Vermont School Boards Insurance Trust pay $125,000 in damages and attorneys’ fees and costs to Travis Allen and Jessica Allen, on behalf of their daughter, Blake Allen, and their attorneys with the Alliance Defending Freedom.

Under the settlement, the district will reinstate Travis Allen, the father, as middle school soccer coach, and will scrub any records of discipline against Travis Allen and daughter Blake from school records.
Further, the settlement requires the Orange Southwest School District Board and school officials named in the Allens’ lawsuit to remove any content posted online by the school related to the locker room business as well as from the bulletin board or boards at Randolph Union Middle/High School displaying “love and support” messages to the trans-identifying student.
The Alliance Defending Freedom hailed the settlement as a huge win for the Allen family.

 

Of course, none of this money is going to come from the pockets of the school administrators, either from their salaries or their pensions. Perhaps if this was the case then school administrators might be more circumspect when trampling on the free speech rights of people they despise.  

But when you consider that this is what the majority of Vermont citizens voted for, it would be natural for school administrators to believe that the State Courts and public opinion had their backs. I have zero sympathy for the taxpayers of Randolph Vermont.

Fortunately, the road to serfdom has not been as smooth as our “progressive” overlords” had hoped, and the tyranny of the majority at least temporally checked. 

 

 

 

Memorial day 2023

Random thoughts / May 28, 2023

 In a few days, I will be celebrating my seventh decade on planet Earth.  I have been blessed with relatively good health, and have much to be thankful for. 

 

It is often said that “all gave some, some gave all”. Since 1776 close to 1.2 million American soldiers never had the privilege of growing old.

 

It seems that over the decades Memorial Day has become more of a celebration of the beginning of Summer than a somber reflection of the sacrifice American soldiers have made, as I was always taught, to preserve our freedom.

 

If all of America’s honored dead were granted by a higher power to rise from their eternal sleep for only a day to bear witness to the present state of the country to which they gave “their last full measure of devotion”,  what would they think?

I think that they would be appalled!!

America has chosen to die by suicide via the slow poisoning of its roots. And I have lived long enough to witness its beginning in the late sixties to the present day.

” …to these honored dead we take increased devotion…that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth”.  Sadly that ship has sailed.

 

I may have lived in the last era of real American freedom. I’m glad I’m old.

 

Have a wonderful Memorial Day and remember those who never grew old.

This is what the majority of the people of Vermont voted for. Virtue signaling their disdain of Republicans in general and Trump in particular. The slow methodical brainwashing of the past three generations to leftist ideology via the public schools and universities. The leftist media flushing objectivity down the toilet, and the majority voting in a one-party dictatorship.

 

You gave the Democrats a super majority so they can do whatever the want , the middle class be damned.

For Libs. the goal was to destroy Fox News in general and Tucker Carlson in particular.  And part of the settlement with Dominion was forcing Fox News to fire the one guy that made them so successful and #1 in cable news.
