Since the founding of America our solders and sailors have put their lives on the line to preserve our freedom. Many gave their “last full measure of devotion”.Their remains rest under the earth and at the bottom of oceans. They remind us the old saying “freedom isn’t free”, it cost treasure and blood.
But America’s armed forces cannot defend against this.
The Old American Republic was the Republic of legend, greater than distance or time. No need to note where it was or whence it came, only to know that… it was the Republic.

Well here is the situation, the citizens of this nation are coming periously close to losing their God given freedoms and Constitutional rights. Many of our political overlords have decreed that the economy and peoples livelihoods will have to be destroyed to save people from dying of COVID-19. A disease that has a recovery rate of nearl 80%,and by keeping the population in lockdown it prevents the possibility of developing herd immunity.

But perhaps more than that, it’s easier to control people who feel desperate and afraid…
As for the oft-cited idea that we are at war with an invisible enemy, I would say, no, we are not. When nations go to war, they do so to defend their culture and way of life. Instead, we are destroying ours.
But there is a war being waged. The left is determined to take this nation down and the perfect time arrived to go in for the kill. Maximum suffering, pain, and destruction is on the menu and they’re serving it up every day as they plunge small towns, cities, counties, and states into protracted lockdowns and shifting goalposts.
The scale of human suffering and the long-term effects of this are incalculable. They will not be seasonal, like a virus. They will be long-lasting. And the left cares not a bit
Now more than ever, I’m struck by the fact that America’s greatest attribute – its freedom – has always been its Achilles heel. Our enemies, both foreign and domestic know it. For well over a century if not really since the beginning of the republic (FYI, in 1789, not 1619), they have used it to gradually, and now seemingly all at once to destroy us from within. It warms the cockles of the heart to see Shelly Luther refuse to kneel before a hack-in-black demagogue and kiss his ring, and now 77-year-old Michigan barber Karl Manke tell Whitmer and her attack bitch Dana Nessel to FOAD. But the willingness for the citizenry of places like California, New York and Washington to just go along is frightening. Whether its Trump derangement, an ingrained Leftist mindset to trust government and fear freedom, which is the essence of American culture that they were taught to despise, and the concomitant hatred for real America which cherishes the latter and elected the former, or some combination of both, they are positively gleeful at what is happening to their fellow citizens, not realizing that it ultimately will happen to them. You can thank 50 years of brainwashing in the schools for that.
We are a house divided. That’s half of the equation required for divide and conquer. I believe we have reached the point where as some commenters are wont to quip “we are not voting our way out of this.” If Trump should G-d forbid lose in November, it will be lights out America for sure. If he wins, which I believe he will even in the face of all of this no matter who his opponent will be, things could get very ugly and very quickly. Regardless of the outcome of November, I have come to the conclusion that with very few exceptions, every branch of government, the bureaucracy and the institutions we rely on to keep us safe are so completely corrupted and beholden to the Counter-American Revolution that elections really will not matter any more. The actions of Emmet Sullivan, along with that of Obama, Comey, Brennan, Clapper and all the rest make it painfully obvious.
This situation is intolerable. I think the President is doing all he can, given the situation he is in. But this is one battle that he can’t fight for us. We are going to have to fight this battle ourselves, for whatever definition of the word “fight” may be applicable. Mass, peaceful civil disobedience is my preferred choice. If G-d forbid it turns out to be that other thing, it will not be us who fire the first shot. But in the end, it only matters who fires the last one.
Lift the lockdowns. Liberate America.
The next 10 months may be the most perilous times America has ever faced. It’s going to be a wild ride.
Most of us are old enough to remember McGruff the Crime Dog where among other things citizens were encouraged to call a tipline to report to the Authorities any criminal activity that they may have witnessed or were aware of and that your identity would remain confidential.
And of course by “crime” things like robbery, assault, drug dealing, extortion, etc. come to mind. But in these trying times of top down lockdown certain Governors and Mayors have embraced their inner totalitarian urges and have establish snitch hotlines for citizens to inform on each other for the crime of exercising their rights under the Constitution.
The true tragedy is not that government bureaucrats want people to inform on their neighbors, it’s that so many people are eager to do the informing. Totalitarian systems are a lot easier to defeat than the internalized totalitarian mindset that we have seen in socialist countries around the world.
What is equally disturbing is that many police departments and some individual cops have taken the bullying police state tactics that they may have always wanted to display but had never until had the blessing of their bosses.
As with all professions other than those that are leftist by definition, such as being an “activist,” whether to promote community, sex, race, sexuality, etc., police and sheriff departments attract a broad range of people. Fortunately, most American police and sheriffs want to serve the community by helping people in times of need and making the community a safe place for everyone through enforcing legitimate laws. They really are the good guys.
However, law enforcement can attract people with an authoritarian streak. I’ve certainly met police officers who enjoy the raw power that comes with the job. In addition, to the extent that law enforcement is a heavily unionized government job, many people working in the field have been drifting left because that’s where their economic interests lie.

The jury on America’s future is still out. The next 10-15 years may tell the story. Either way I will likely not be here to witness it. Which may be a good thing.
Good morning, kids. Start of a new week and the big story is of course Bernie Sanders winning the Nevada Caucuses and by a comfortable margin. It’s still the opening round of the battle for the Democrat nomination and anything’s possible, but the momentum for now is with an aging, Communist bull. After taking, theoretically, Iowa an New Hampshire, it’s on to South Carolina next week and then the massive 14-state Super Tuesday on March 3rd. The Democrat-Media Complex is now in a full-blown panic since, in its estimation, Sanders would not only be crushed by Trump in the general election, but his openly radical, Communist/Socialist agenda – as opposed to the stealth variety pimped by the Democrats for nearly 100 years – will only help struggling Republican candidates, particularly in close Senate races, taint their opponents and ride in on Trump’s coattails.
A few observations: first, Little Big Gulp Mike Bloomberg has spent well over a $250 million in his effort to be the Democrats’ putative “moderate” white knight surefire Trump-slayer and has come up with bupkiss. By the time it’s all over, that figure might well go north of half billion. We’ll see if all that money can buy a nomination, or in the case of the Democrats, help them steal it for him. That leads me to my next point, which is the imminent cleaving in half of the Democrat Party. The seeds of this dissolution were planted decades ago in our classrooms, lecture halls, and even our daycare facilities. The old guard Democrat Party, and that includes Barack Obama, traditionally have taken an incremental approach to overthrowing the nation as founded. Certain crises like the 1929 and 2008 crashes notwithstanding which they never let “go to waste” in pushing the New Deal and “Hope and Change.”
Now, their chickens are coming home to roost. Two or more generations lobotomized into hating the country and everything it stands for see Trump and his phenomenal success as a complete abnegation of everything they believe in, and the Democrat Establishment as either failures or sell-outs in their promises of both getting rid of him and delivering the long-promised, yet never-delivered Socialist “paradise on earth.”
It’s kind of fun to watch people like James Carville, Anderson Cooper and Chris Matthews sound almost – almost – Reaganesque in attacking Bernie Sanders as a crazy Communist who’ll do nothing but destroy the Democrat Party. Bloomberg did himself no favors with his performance in last week’s Las Vegas debate, except his attack on Communism/Socialism was to the point and dead on target. Make no mistake; in no way are any of the aforementioned imbued with any sense of patriotism or love of the country as founded, for if they did, they wouldn’t be liberals/Leftists. But it’s delicious to watch them actually attack Bernie Sanders for policies that they themselves have always supported, just never out in the open, or at the very least with a carefully phrased and crafted message to swindle the low information voter into supporting it. Hoisting themselves on their own petards, so to speak.
Yet, while we’re reveling in the Democrats ripping each other to pieces, one should never lose sight of the fact that Bernie Sanders might be a farshimmelt alta-kocker but his politics and beliefs are both abhorrent and extremely dangerous if he were to ever gain control of the levers of power. We barely survived Obama’s eight-year Reign of Error. The sobering point still remains that even after Bernie, if the DNC cannot steal the nomination from him again, gets beaten by Trump in the general, there are many more just like him. The so-called “moderates” aren’t going to jump ship to the GOP; they will either be purged or drop the masks entirely and go hardcore Left.
And there are still millions of young people who are brain dead true believers, and an educational system that is brainwashing millions more right behind them. That is a recipe for disaster, no matter what Trump does in the next five years. G-d help us
