Eight Score and Three Years Ago…

America was a house divided. At war over wither the meaning of freedom really meant “all men” or that one certain class of people had the “freedom” to enslave and/or rule another.

Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this. But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate—we can not consecrate—we can not hallow—this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us—that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion—that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vainthat this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

November 19th 2020, America is again a house divided. Perhap even more so then during the Civil War.

Similarly the situation our country is presenlty in is not unlike what happened in the 73 year period from 1787 to 1860. Then it was wither the American experiment of freedom and equality for “all men” and a peculiar institution that existed primarily in the South could co-exist. The answer was “NO”and it was decided by war.

The Chaos that our nation finds itself in has not happened overnight. It’s roots go all the way back to 1848. The goal, to throw out 6000 years of human nature to create a new human being. “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.” The problem is that the individual doesn’t tell the “State” what he needs. “The State” tells him. And he better damn well be grateful. Ultimetly though the individual’s needs will become subservent to the collective.

The United States is really not that different from Hitler’s Germany or Stalin’s Russia. The big difference is that the United States has a large number of built-in checks and balances against the consolidation of power by the state that in turn protects individual freedom. They have been steadily eroded in the last one hundred years by progressive forces manipulating and distorting the meaning of the Constitution in the name of the “greater good” rather than the individual. And this is leading to the same destination as those two totalitarian regimes.

Of course something has to be given back (from each), and perhaps as an individual you will have somethin useful to offer. If not there is always manual labor.

Cultural_Marxism has been taught in in our schools since the late sixties. I witnessed the beginnings of it myself a long time ago when I was in high school

As the “old school” left, the “new school” arrived. Young teachers in their mid to late twenties. Fresh from the teachers colleges. Civics and Social Studies were the courses where the seeds of a new political and ideological agenda could be planted. And they were planted in our “young skulls full of mush”.

My Memory isn’t that precise as to recall every detail of my freshman year but I do remember in Social Studies doing a report on Eugene Debs, the American Socialist party leader (Bernie’s hero) and getting an “A” on it.  I was being taught the notion that government could plan an economy that would be fair to everyone.  I don’t recall seeing many textbooks about life in Communist countries.  The few I did see didn’t go into much detail but stated they did have full employment and health care was free. What’s so bad about that.

Needless to say if the Marxist Democrats pull off this grand theft and install their sock puppet Joe Biden Conservatives in America have better be prepared. Barack Obama has never given up his goal in transforming America and was always the man behind the curtain in the attemps to undermine president Trump over the past four years. The progressive left feels that they’re so close they can taste it. They’re plotting their revenge and they plan to serve it very cold.

Not everyone a Fox has gone over to the dark side.
