When there is pressure to conform—to declare that we are worms—there is one person in 10 who is brave enough to say, “I am not a worm. I will not kneel. I will not fly the swastika flag.” In all times and places, that person is the hope of the future.
Expressing a different opinion different from the orthodox Party line makes her a thought criminal. Perhaps she should be thankful she’s only being purged, someday it may be “to be shot” !
Just read some of the awful things (sarc.) she said.

This whole episode stinks. A blatant violation of Principal Rileys First Amendment right of Free speech. And Lawyers are in total agreement on this. As of this writing I have not heard or read of any comment from the Vermont chapter of the A.C.L.U. Somehow I’m not surprised.
Maybe I’ll contact them and see what they have to say.

We’ve all heard about the Antifa collective who have seized six city blocks in downtown Seattle and are now trying to set up a collective farm there to grow their own food.
As a former Soviet citizen, I feel obligated to offer their leaders advice based on practical experience.
Since none of you know how to grow seeds into beets, make Mike Bloomberg your minister of agriculture; he’ll be your best expert. Coerce him into joining your collective farm. That way, what’s yours will be his, and vice versa. That’s a lot of seed money.
For a collective farm to work you must first cleanse your ranks of wreakers, spies, saboteurs, and other enemies of the people, once you collectivize their property. Convert one of the six city blocks into a Gulag (aka concentration camp or forced labor camp), where these thoughtfelons can redeem themselves by toiling for the Common Good™ planting beets.
Then there’s an issue of some collective farmers being more successful than others. Round them all up, label them kulaks, and dekulakize them. Convert one more city block into a forced labor Gulag. Now, with so much free labor, you’re bound to have great economic success and prove to the hateful world that your way is better than their capitalist wage slavery and oppression…

Increasingly, we are being called upon to comply and subscribe to BLM’s problematic view of history, and the department is being presented as unified on the matter. In particular, ethnic minorities are being aggressively marshaled into a single position. Any apparent unity is surely a function of the fact that dissent could almost certainly lead to expulsion or cancellation for those of us in a precarious position, which is no small number.
I personally don’t dare speak out against the BLM narrative, and with this barrage of alleged unity being mass-produced by the administration, tenured professoriat, the UC administration, corporate America, and the media, the punishment for dissent is a clear danger at a time of widespread economic vulnerability. I am certain that if my name were attached to this email, I would lose my job and all future jobs, even though I believe in and can justify every word I type.
And Blacks killing Blacks…white progressives couldn’t give a rats ass !
The vast majority of violence visited on the black community is committed by black people. There are virtually no marches for these invisible victims, no public silences, no heartfelt letters from the UC regents, deans, and departmental heads. The message is clear: Black lives only matter when whites take them. Black violence is expected and insoluble, while white violence requires explanation and demands solution. Please look into your hearts and see how monstrously bigoted this formulation truly is.
In addition sixty years of one party Democrat rule in our cities, coupled with LBJ’s Great Society which destroyed the Black family.

K-12 public education in America has been rotten for the last fifty years. I saw the begining of Marxist indoctrination with my own eyes back in the late sixties. It’s all part of the radical lefts ‘long march’ starting by taking over college academia, teachers colleges especially. And from there training not teachers but political commissars who have poisoned the last three generations to hate their own country.
The results of their efforts are plain to see right now in real time.
They look black to me, and I’m certainly not going to argue with them.
A law enforcement officer puts his/her life on the line everday. It’s a dangerous occupation where a split second decision can be a matter of life or death for the officer and equally so the suspect. There can be no doubt that bad Cops do exist. Pressing a knee on someone’s neck or holding someone in a choke hold for 5-10 minutes even after the suspect has been subdued, handcuffed and pleading fo air, or shooting a fleeing suspect in the back multiple times one can only shake their head and go WTF was going through your head.
It’s not a pretty picture of law enforcement.
As the Hodge twins point out, white people die from police bullets too. But ‘BLM’, and the mainstream media have a narraitve to maintain. We never hear about those incidents. It’s not to bring people together to address a common problem, that’s the last thing they want. It’s to push a radical left agenda that can only be accomplished by collective, (not individual) guilt.
I.e. if you were born white then you’re ‘privileged’ and a ‘racist’, wither you know it or not. However if you bow down, kneel, confess your sin of being ‘white’, kiss our ass beg forgiveness, gives us money, and disown your friends and relatives who don’t agree…well we may leave you alone…for awhile.
Some Black Americans beg to disagree.

But to Antifa and Black lives Matter, if you should REFUSE to bow down and acquiese to their ideology without hesitation, refuse to grovel and apologize for being born ‘white”, refuse to acknowledge your “white priviledge” and beg their forgivness, in their eyes you are a “white supremacist“. And you will be crushed.
