Remember Reefer Madness

For a long time getting high could land you in jail. The theory was that it was a “gateway” drug to harder stuff like cocaine and heroin. I’m old enough to remember when getting busted was a really big deal. This I know from “personal” experience. Ah... but what a difference forty years makes, Pot in most states has essentially been legalized and some States seek to raise revenue by it by monopolizing its sale and distribution and taxing the crap out of it. Vermont is no exception.

Granted that any drug that alters brain chemistry can have grave effects on certain people. Some people just shouldn’t touch the stuff.

I will confess that I have indulged in cannabis for well neigh 45 years, for better or worse. I enjoy it for the shit eating grin it gives me when I usually need it the most. Could I live without it? If I had to…of course. But I think I can safely say I have suffered no psychotic episodes because of my indulgence…at least none that I recall… just kidding.

But this incident in Paris France compels me to reconsider.

A French prosecutor has dropped charges against the killer of Jewish kindergarten teacher Sarah Halimi after experts ruled he had suffered a massive psychotic episode by smoking cannabis.

Ms Halimi, who was Orthodox, was killed after Kobili Traoré broke into her council flat in eastern Paris on April 4 2017.

Witnesses said the 65-year-old was beaten and called a “demon” by her attacker, who recited Koranic verses as he threw her off her balcony.

In an appeals court hearing on Wednesday Traoré admitted killing Ms Halimi, saying he was not aware of his actions on the night of the murder and did not recognise when he broke in.

But in a rare turn of events, French prosecutors were divided on how to proceed. Local prosecutors in Paris initially argued that Kobili Traoré should be put on trial for his actions. But they were opposed by the more senior procureur général, which argued Traoré should be hospitalised.

“I felt persecuted. When I saw the Torah and a chandelier in her home I felt oppressed. I saw her face transforming,” he said.

He was triggered !

Francis Szpiner, another Halimi family lawyer, said the case was setting a historic precedent: “You’re saying that people can walk free after carrying out criminal action just because they were allegedly not aware of the effects of drugs or other substances?

Will this also apply to drunk drivers who kill children on the road?

No it won’t ! It will only apply to Muslims who kill Jews and who were smart enough to smoke dope beforehand !

One might wonder “if the religions were reversed, would a French Jew have been held not criminally liable for killing an elderly Muslim woman.” The answer is…of course he would.

Europe is already F*cked. Trump is trying to hold back this madness in America.

Remember that the next time you light up a bowl.

Victim of white punks Muslims on Dope.
