Just what does the science say?

Vermont is said to be on of the most secular states in the nation, but that certainly doesn’t mean that Vermont doesn’t have religion. Vermont is joining an alliance…

From the Times Argus.

The alliance, which included 10 states as of Monday, is committed to upholding the goal of the 2015 Paris Agreement to reduce emissions in the United States between 26 percent and 28 percent of 2005 levels by 2025. The goal is optional and not mandatory.

—————————————————————————————————————-

“If we’re actually going to meet the goals set forth in the Climate Alliance, or even Vermont’s own plans and laws, we’re going to need to see a lot more,” Walsh said.

Still, joining the Climate Alliance shows that Vermont is committed to its own energy goals, which include getting 90 percent of energy used in Vermont from renewable sources by 2050.

“That sends a very clear message the U. S. isn’t retreating, even if the president would like us to,” Walsh said. “Is it sufficient? Absolutely not. Paris by itself is actually not as strong as it ultimately needs to be, but the fact that so many states and cities have stood up is a very good indication that the U.S. isn’t actually going to be sitting the climate fight out.”

Optional but not mandatory???? You would think that with the planet in such danger of perhaps becoming like its sister planet Venus.

And what’s this talk about 2050 when we only have 10 years left.  It looks to me that in order to “save the planet” we’re going to need some draconian laws, along with draconian enforcement, followed by draconian punishments.

Which is nothing new for the left, it’s their modus operandi.

But Science practiced via the “scientific method” and not politicized says something completely different.

From the website no tricks zone.

Last year there were at least 60 peer-reviewed papers published in scientific journals demonstrating that Today’s Warming Isn’t Global, Unprecedented, Or Remarkable.
 .

Just within the last 5 months, 58 more papers and 80 new graphs have been published that continue to undermine the popularized conception of a slowly cooling Earth temperature history followed by a dramatic hockey-stick-shaped uptick, or an especially unusual global-scale warming during modern times.
 .

Yes, some regions of the Earth have been warming in recent decades or at some point in the last 100 years.  Some regions have been cooling for decades at a time.  And many regions have shown no significant net changes or trends in either direction relative to the last few hundred to thousands of years.
 .

Succinctly, then, scientists publishing in peer-reviewed journals have increasingly affirmed that there is nothing historically unprecedented or remarkable about today’s climate when viewed in the context of long-term natural variability.

Of course this “science will be ignored. It doesn’t fit the narrative.

Climate change is a religion. And its goal is to establish a progressive-socialist-Marxist heaven on earth run by elites who will share no part in the misery that will follow.

There is other peoples money, then there is “MY” money.

There is a scene in the movie Doctor Zhivago where the good doctor comes home to discover that the Revolution has abolished private property.

Definition of capitalism :  an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market. A free market is an economy operating by free competition.

Capitalism when it comes to book royalties has been very, very good for Comrade Bernie. Along with his hew dacha on lake Champlain life has been pretty good for someone you never held a steady job until he was elected Mayor of Burlington (by 10 votes) at age 40.

Bernie Sanders made more than $858,000 in royalties for two new books last year, according to the 2016 financial disclosure the senator quietly filed on Sunday.

And he’s keeping the money.

Most of that money, $795,000, comes from Our Revolution: A Future To Believe In, a book Sanders wrote for St. Martin’s Press. Published on Nov. 15, the book included Sanders’ account of the 2016 election. Hardcover copies sold for $27—the average amount contributed to Sanders’ presidential campaign.

In addition, Sanders received $63,750 in royalties for a book that hasn’t yet hit the shelves: The Bernie Sanders Guide to Political Revolution. The book seeks to help its teenage audience “learn more about progressive causes and how to mobilize around key issues they care about,”

After the Bolsheviks took control of Russia for good Lenin and other leading Bolshevik leaders appropriated the mansions and estates of the wealthy landowners who in most cases were no longer among the living. I doubt very much that the scene above took place at any of their residences.

Bernie writes books (producing a product), a publisher takes a chance that they’re many people who want to read i.e. buy them.  Obviously this is the case and Bernie made a windfall. Good for him.

Like Al Gore who has made millions off the global warming climate change scam, Bernie has achieve a very comfortable lifestyle all the while pushing an ideology of the redistribution of other peoples wealth.

Socialism for the people, not the socialist.

I hope that if and when Bernie’s long for Revolution arrives that he and all the other rich progressives that are pushing this will be more then willing to open their homes to all the new immigrants from south of the border and the middle east, just like Dr. Zhivago.

Dirty little secret, most of the so called 1%, Steyer,  Gates,  Bloomberg, et al. are all on board with this. They what to keep the torches and pitchforks away from their door, and avoid any bad publicity from the media. Feeding the alligator hoping it will eat them last.

“All are equal, just some people are more equal then others”

This President does have balls

President Trump has pulled the United States out from this wealth redistribution scam the Paris climate accords.

I totally agree with this decision.

The world is shocked and appalled.

From Truth Revolt

Trump’s decision delighted American conservatives but sent Progressives, who hate it when America chooses its own self-interest over their globalist agenda, into a frenzy. Progressives see Trump’s decision as evidence that the United States is wrong as usual and Trump hates the planet and wants children everywhere to die.Obama himself weighed in, in a statement: “Even in the absence of American leadership; even as this Administration joins a small handful of nations that reject the future, I’m confident that our states, cities, and businesses will step up and do even more to lead the way, and help protect for future generations the one planet we’ve got.”

Socialist Bernie Sanders called the move “an abdication of American leadership and an international disgrace.” Former Vice President Al Gore, whose carbon footprint alone is larger than South America’s, said it was “a reckless and indefensible action.”

Premier Li Keqiang of China, unapologetically one of the worst-polluting countries on the planet, said that fighting so-called climate change is a “global consensus” and an “international responsibility.”

If China, Obama, Sanders, and Gore are against it, then Trump’s move was the right one

Venezuela is on fire

I wonder what Bernie, Sean Penn, and Danny Glover have to say.

I wonder if they read The Daily Mail. They’re certainly not going to read much in the New York Times or The Times Argus, will they?
