End homelessness in America.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n

This has been done before.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0 I remember reading stories about people growing up in\u00a0“the Projects”<\/a>.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Bernie’s housing for all.<\/em><\/h4>\n
Remember, we just need the right people in charge.<\/strong><\/em><\/h6>\n
“It is unacceptable that in America tonight, more than half a million Americans will be sleeping out on the streets or in homeless shelters because they don\u2019t have the money to put a roof over their heads, while the three richest families in America experienced a $101 billion increase in their wealth last year. This is a national embarrassment. In the richest country on Earth, we will invest nearly $32 billion over the next five years to end homelessness in America….”<\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n

Who are these three richest familes Bernie? Could you be more specific?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

He does know that homelessness is the most acute in deep blue cities…right?<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n

2.\u00a0Nearly half of all Americans sleeping on the streets live in California. \u201cAlmost half (47 percent) of all unsheltered homeless people in the United States are found in California, about four times as high as their share of the overall United States population. Among the five cities with the highest rates of unsheltered homelessness, four are in California (San Francisco, Los Angeles, Santa Rosa, and San Jose), and the other is Seattle.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0But East Coast cities have the highest rate of homelessness \u2013 and Washington, D.C. ranks worst. \u201cCompared to a national rate of 17 homeless people per 10,000, the cities \u2026 with the highest rates of overall homelessness are Washington, DC (103 per 10,000), Boston, MA (102 per 10,000), and New York, NY (101 per 10,000).\u201d More than 20 percent of all homeless people live in New York City. \u201cThese cities each have homelessness rates that are over 6 times as high as the overall U.S rate,\u201d and the level of sheltered homelessness is eight-times the national average (11 per 10,000<\/strong>).<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

More likely Bernie could be thinking along these lines.\u00a0 Along with implementing the\u00a0Green new Deal<\/a>\u00a0 and the Trillions(!) of dollars it will cost,\u00a0 this may be the best the proletariat, and the underclassd can hope for.\u00a0 Our\u00a0Brave New World <\/a>awaits us.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
